Bodegas Jagatas reflects a history that began generations ago in Valencia de Don Juan. What was once my great-grandfather’s passion for making wine at home became a family legacy that we have been perfecting since 1995.

My name is Sara González, and my love for wine is a legacy that I decided to turn into my own path. In 2017, I began studying viticulture in Valladolid and, almost at the same time, I acquired four plots of century-old vineyards in San Pedro de los Oteros and Pajares de los Oteros. I learned from Raúl Pérez, with whom I harvested grapes in El Bierzo and Galicia, and later ran the family winery, Margón, while developing my own projects.

Today, after closing the cycle of the family winery, Bodegas Jagatas is my life’s work. A place where every wine tells a story, where every glass is a tribute to the land, and where tradition and innovation go hand in hand.
